Approached through a private entrance shared only with the owners neighbouring property a warm welcome awaits but privacy is assured. It makes a perfect rural retreat for those wishing to enjoy the peace and seclusion of the surrounding countryside yet its central location makes it an ideal base for a touring holiday in the West Country. There are a contrast of places to visit West Somerset Steam Railway Clarks Village Taunton Dunster Castle the seaside town of Minehead and several small quiet bays and sandy coves. You are welcome to see the animals on the land including the goats and pig and in the evening walk to the local pub serving good food. The accommodation accessed through a characterful low door offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. Bathroom: with bath with mixer tap and shower attachment and WC. Lounge: with tiled floor TV and woodburner (first basket of logs free). Kitchen/diner: with cooker fridge a small freezer microwave and washer/dryer. Outside: enclosed garden with BBQ. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen and electric included. Electric heaters. No towels supplied. Regret no smoking. 1 dog welcome. Location: beach 10 minute walk shop and pub within walking distance.

Bath has some of Britain’s most majestic Georgian architecture, as well as the famous Roman Baths (not mention great shopping). Then there’s Wells, England’s smallest city. Wandering around the cathedral close, with its unspoilt medieval lanes is like taking a step back in time. And for a real sense of mystery, there’s Glastonbury (home of the world-famous music festival), supposedly the site of King Arthur’s mythical Avalon. All await you on one of our Somerset cottage holidays. The county has more than its fair share of beach resorts too. The Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare is superb, as is the wide beach here, while Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea offer a choice of traditional seaside pleasures. Meanwhile, for nature lovers there’s the wild landscape of Exmoor, and the Mendip and Quantock Hills, both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cheddar Gorge is truly stunning. Great for real Cheddar cheese too!
